Now imagine sitting at your desk, looking out of the window, and seeing that bottle kiln. Every day. And it looks just as beautiful in the snow as it does in the sunshine.

For over 100 years, we’ve worked with local charities, community groups, and social enterprises to provide high-quality services and vital support to the local voluntary sector. Our vast experience and total dedication to the VCSE sector in and around Stoke-on-Trent means that we have a unique understanding of what organisations like yours need.

The Dudson Centre: work, meet, eat, discover
Located in Hanley, in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, the unique setting of the Dudson Centre is home to a close community of like-minded VCSE groups involving and supporting local people from all walks of life.
We provide modern, attractive office space for organisations just like yours, and that includes discounted space rental, caretaking facilities, IT infrastructure, and broadband to name just a few. Tenants in the Dudson Centre community can hire fully equipped meeting rooms at a special rate with access to Zoom Rooms which are hugely popular for hybrid meetings.
Meeting refreshments are also available for a small cost, as are delicious homemade buffets for those full-day meetings.
If you’re booking a buffet or some grazing platters for your meeting, you can now hire the bottle kiln itself where you can impress your guests with this unique setting, chatting to others over a networking lunch, surrounded by the exquisite Dudson collection.
Grab lunch in the Dudson Cafe and enjoy a breakfast bap, some authentic oatcakes with your favourite fillings, or one of our weekly specials. We also serve hot and cold drinks, light bites, and snacks, as well as delicious homemade cakes!
Take a step back in time on your break, head inside the Dudson Museum bottle oven and delve into the captivating story of the family business that left an indelible mark on the world of ceramics.
But they’re nothing compared to the sense of community at the centre, a place where we can get together, collaborate, build relationships, and support each other’s work. And at the Dudson Centre, you’re sure to find a comfortable and professional workspace that meets your organisation’s every need.

We’re currently developing a brand new co-working space where you can rent a desk rather than an entire office, all while enjoying the benefits of office working, mixing with others, and joining a community of people all working towards the same goal.
This new co-working space will include energy costs and access to high-speed broadband, as well as a staffed reception, caretaking services, and more!
