The Dudson Centre in Hanley is home to a range of Voluntary and Community Groups, Charities and Social Enterprise. We aim to create an environment that fosters closer collaboration between VCSE organisations to ensure the development of robust, sustainable voluntary sector in Staffordshire. Below is a list of the organisations that make up our community.
VAST services (1920)
VAST is a charity providing services and support to Voluntary and Community Groups, Charities and Social Enterprises in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. Our key aim is to develop, advance and promote the professional development of Staffordshire’s Voluntary and Community Sector.

Building Better Opportunities – Starfish
Starfish provides holistic support for disadvantaged people with multiple barriers to work within Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Staffordshire Moorlands.
Action for Children
Action for Children are the lead provider for the Stoke-on-Trent Aiming High Programme offering activities and support to local families in Stoke-On-Trent. Our team have proven experience in providing Short Break services, support, information and professional advice for young people with disabilities.
NYAS
NYAS provides advocacy and legal representation to children and vulnerable adults when important decisions are being made about them. The children and young people NYAS work with might be in care, have a disability or special needs, be subject to child protection plans, have mental health difficulties or their parents might be separating.
Quit 51
The Quit 51 Stop Smoking Services are developed by experts using the most up to date relevant research and insight. While on your Stop Smoking Programme, you will have a named practitioner, specially trained and highly experienced in helping people to become smoke-free. Our local service provides you with advice, support and encouragement to help you stop smoking for good.
North Staffs MIND
NS Mind offer high quality services in the North Staffordshire area and last year over 4,700 people accessed these services. They offer a range of services focusing on the mental health and wellbeing of adults, children and young people and these services include counselling, community support and supported housing.
